Trauma Informed Yoga

Trauma Informed Yoga will be offered at the #Boulderstrong Resource Center on Saturdays from 12 Noon to 1 p.m., starting August 21 and running through October 2.

People do not need any prior yoga experience to attend, and it will be a class with gentle stretching and poses.

Trauma-informed yoga is an approach to yoga that aims to create a safe and supportive environment. Classes are taught at a slower pace while inviting participants to choose what feels right in their body. This class may benefit participants to feel grounded in the present moment, reconnected to themselves, and may assist in managing emotions.

You may register for classes at the front desk at Boulder Strong Resource Center. There is a sign up sheet. Or, contact the Resource Center Front Desk at 303-545-0844.

Lindsay Breslin, LCSW, and Program Supervisor for MESA will be teaching the class.
